Brooklyn buyers and sellers will simply not get better market
insight, attentive service or expert results than real estate
specialist Georges Boursiquot provides. Himself a multiple
property owner and manager, namely in the borough’s
architecturally-rich Bedford-Stuyvesant, Prospect Heights
and Crown Heights sections, George also long served in government
positions which enhanced his knowledge of all facets affecting
Brooklyn real estate.
Originally from Haiti, George attended
the University of Quebec before moving to New York in 1976
to pursue economic studies at SUNY. This business-minded
visionary started his own thriving jewelry manufacturing
company, plus began investing in and managing multiple
dwellings. Georges currently owns a lovely brownstone in
Brooklyn’s Lefferts Manor landmark
district, as well as a condominium on Eastern Parkway in
Crown Heights where he currently resides.
Besides his proven personal expertise,
George also worked for the City
of New York in Housing Preservation and Development. As advocate for small property
owners throughout New York City, and Brooklyn in particular,
he capably helped in such areas as tax burden alleviation,
refinancing, tenant/rent regulations and property management.
He later served in the Department
of Youth and Community Development, funding various Brooklyn-wide economic development
programs.
Georges offers his real estate clientele
a keen eye for investment quality backed by concrete knowledge
of the market’s inner workings. His vast experience
can enlighten owners on what their property is worth, whether or not the time
is right to sell, and how to most effectively market it in current conditions.
Buyers gain considerably from Georges’ understanding
of available inventory, its quality and value when it comes
to determining the best homes and buildings to purchase.
Topping his qualifications is his completion of graduate
level courses in construction management and his certification
as a lead professional by the Environmental Protection Agency.
A member of the Haitian
American Alliance,
George also devotes his time to the beautification of Lefferts
Manor and has served on various other Brooklyn economic
development boards. The father of two grown daughters,
he enjoys golf and woodworking when spare time allows.
